A flock of starlings, properly known as a murmuration, put on a sky show on Monday, Jan. 6.
Thousands of the small birds gathered together in downtown Detroit to fly in their mesmerizing formations that wheel and dart across the sky. The show of tight, fluid formations was against a darkening sky as dusk settled on the city.
Video of the occasion was captured by ClickOnDetroit cameraman Tim Pamplin who shared it in a Tweet.
