This holiday season, The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) has teamed up with Gardner-White Furniture to host a clothing and shoe drive. Running now through the year end, community members will have the option to donate gently-used clothing and shoes to any of Gardner-White’s 8 metro Detroit locations in addition to the 34 metro Detroit Salvation Army family thrift store donation centers.
“We’re so thankful for this partnership with Gardner-White,” said Merle Mille, administrator of The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center. “The success of our stores and ARC programs are dependent on the generosity of the community’s donations and purchases. The addition of these extra donation sites will truly be an asset to our holiday collections this year.”
All donations to the 34 Salvation Army thrift stores directly benefit The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Centers’ independently funded, 180-day residential rehabilitation programs for adults.
In addition to helping the ARC change people’s lives, Gardner-White shoppers who make a contribution to the clothing and shoe drive will receive a Best Buy electronics gift from Gardner-White.
