The Dance Theatre of Harlem: 40 Years of Firsts Gala. This dazzling, one-of-a-kind experience and unforgettable evening of dance includes dinner, live entertainment by Grammy Award-winner Miri Ben-Ari, private tours of the “40 Years of Firsts” exhibit, Dance Theatre of Harlem Ensemble performances including New Bach and Return, and the Dance the Night Away After Affair.
Friday, September 9, 2011, from 7 pm – 1 am
The Gala begins promptly at 7 pm, followed shortly thereafter by Dance Theatre of Harlem performances, exhibit tours, dining and dancing. Gala attendees enjoy complimentary valet parking, open and butler bar service, and complimentary admission to the Dance the Night Away After Affair.
The After Affair begins at 9:30 pm and includes music, dancing, finger foods and desserts. After Affair attendees enjoy open bar service.
