DEARBORN, Michigan – World renowned bass guitarist Terrance Palmer will bring his phenomenal talent to the 4th-Friday’s coffee house in Dearborn – Friday night, January 28. Palmer has played on stages throughout the United States and Canada – along with musical tours in Africa, Australia, Europe, South America, and New Zealand. He’s won Grammy, Dove and Soul Train music awards, playing along side of many major Gospel artists.
As a youngster, Palmer experimented with a variety of musical instruments. He found his groove with the bass guitar at 17, and by the age of 19 Palmer was on stage with Dionne Warwick and Aretha Franklin. Friday night provides an opportunity to see Palmer up close in the intimate setting of the 4th-Friday’s coffee house, sharing the stage with Rufus Harris and local artist Aaron G. from the band Omni.

Palmer’s debut Jazz CD, “Love Letter,” is a 12-song compilation featuring a blend of jazzy instrumentals and Palmer’s contemporary gospel roots with a hint of R&B. “Love Letter” demonstrates Palmer’s full range of musical ability – as a musician, arranger and producer.

4th-Fridays is held at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center located at 15801 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn. The 4th-Friday coffee house is held in the “black box room”. Doors open at 8pm. Show starts at 8:30pm. Admission is $10 at the door, and the price of admission includes your choice of coffee and hot drinks from the coffee bar. Personal checks are accepted.
