On September 30, the Rochester Symphony opens its 51st season with a concert titled SYMPHONIC ROMANCE.
The program features music of Copland, Verdi and the Romantic Symphony of Howard Hanson.
Guest artist, violinist, Gabriel Bolkosky, a Detroit native, earned advanced degrees at the University of Michigan, and the Cleveland Institute. He will perform Beethoven’s violin concerto with the orchestra. Gabriel’s range of music also included jazz, folk, fiddling, and klezmer music. He has released 6 CDs some of which will be available at the concert.
