Meet at the library’s west entrance and enjoy a leisurely bike ride through Rochester’s spectacular past. Riders will meet the seventh generation of one of Rochester’s oldest families, explore the stories buried at Mt. Avon Cemetery, visit a grocery store in the middle of a neighborhood, learn the significance of the Detroit United Railway, and enjoy a residential home with a charming past. The tour is approximately 1 ½ hours long and three miles of biking with frequent stops.
Attendees may register for one of six time slots between 6-7:15 p.m. Each time slot accommodates up to 12 riders. Tours are approximately three miles long. Helmets are strongly encouraged. Space is limited.
Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is a Michigan Activity Pass member. Buy one admission, get one free with your RHPL card. Not valid during special events. Please check the museum website for dates of special events.
