THE BIGGER TRUNK, THE MORE JUNK, THE BETTER

Rochester’s very first community-wide Resale Event

Junk

This summer, there’s a special call out to Rochester businesses and residents to participate in Rochester’s very first community wide resale event. Junk in the Trunk is scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2012. The event will be held in the parking lot located at W. Third and Walnut from 9am-2pm.

“Junk in the Trunk will bring all of Rochester together”, said Stephanie Schwager, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “We all know one person’s “junk” is another person’s treasure, so mark your calendar for August, 11, because you never know what treasures are in store for you!”

Downtown Rochester businesses and residents may purchase parking spaces to sell their “junk”. Parking spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, with a two space maximum. The price for one space is $35, and two spaces is $50. All registries will be responsible for additional needs such as tables, chairs, petty cash, etc.

Registration Forms can be found online at www.downtownrochestermi.com/events/junk-in-the-trunk. Space is limited, so it’s recommended to sign up as soon as possible. Once registered, special communications will be made to obtain payment and distribute the Junk in the Trunk seller’s kit.

Other upcoming downtown Rochester events include the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market, every Saturday morning through Oct. 27; Movies in the Moonlight, every Saturday June 30-August 4; Sidewalk Sales, July 12-14; and The Big, Bright Ball on July 29.
