Red Wings fans had the opportunity to “Paint the Ice” at Joe Louis Arena Wednesday afternoon.
More than 1,000 fans registered for the event, where they were able to write a personalized message honoring the Red Wings and their memories at Joe Louis Arena.
Adults who took part in the event donated $20 each, while children under 11 were $10. Those under 2 were free.
