STRING PLAYERS (including HARP!), PERCUSSIONISTS & FRENCH HORNISTS … WE WANT YOU!
This summer, Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra is recruiting musicians for our upcoming 2024-2025 Concert Season. TMSO is a community orchestra that rehearses in Troy, Michigan, and performs in the Troy-metro community. If you are an advanced high school student, instructor/music faculty, college music major, or adult musician who plays for enjoyment … we need you!

CURRENT OPENINGS: If you play French horn, percussion, harp, violin, viola, cello, or double bass … there are still open positions within our orchestra for the 2024-2025 Concert Season. Please visit our website and fill out the “Musician Info” form (https://www.troymetro.org/join) to be contacted by one of our section leaders with further audition details. (Don’t be intimidated by auditions – they are done virtually with smartphone video recordings!)

We have a great lineup of music for the season & would love for you to join us: (Copland’s Rodeo, Horovitz & Wesolowski’s euphonium concertos, Peter & the Wolf, Swan Lake, and sacred selections).
