The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s Henry & Delia Meyers Library and Media Center, together with the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan (JHSM), will host “Motown Mensches” at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 6 at The Berman Center for the Performing Arts.
The lecture, presented by archivist Jan Durecki of the Leo M. Franklin Archives at Temple Beth El, will focus on Motown’s Jewish producers, writers and singers.
Following the event, guests are invited to an afterglow with plenty of Motown music and light refreshments.
