Now that the May flowers are finally blooming, Mother’s Day is quickly approaching.
The second Sunday of the month — May 12 this year — is set aside to honor mothers. It’s one of the busiest days of the year for restaurants. Many metro Detroit eateries are gearing up and pulling out the stops with an array of special dishes just for moms. There are breakfast, brunch and dinner specials, and some places will have prix fixe menus.
