Downtown Milford’s Ladies Night Out is this THURSDAY, October 6

Hundreds of women expected for evening of shopping and dining

The Village of Milford’s annual Ladies Night Out returns from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6 in the downtown Main Street district, promising giveaways, one-night-only discounts, storewide sales, freebies, plus complimentary snacks and beverages at participating retailers.

Besides plenty of time to eat, drink, shop and mingle, attendees will also have the chance to win one of 40 gift certificates worth at least $20 each, redeemable at a variety of Milford spots. To enter, attendees can pick up stamps at participating businesses to place in a booklet. Once they’ve picked up 10, they can enter to win by dropping their completed form into one of the boxes at a participating location.

“Our autumn edition of Ladies Night Out is a perfect time to explore everything downtown Milford has to offer along with your moms, aunts, sisters and of course your girlfriends too,” said Wendi Skolnik, Milford Business Association president and owner of Nana’s Niche & Corner, one of the participating Milford businesses.

Patrons can expect specials at many of Milford’s restaurants as well as exclusive deals and previews of the latest merchandise at dozens of clothing boutiques, gift shops, jewelry stores and furniture outfitters. The evening is also a perfect opportunity to check out some of the newest businesses in downtown Milford, including Beading Friendzy at 431 North Main, Fitz Squared at 345 North Main, The Village Engravers at 400 North Main, Suite 203, Paris XOX at 347 North Main, and the new ownership at Bling Boutique, 361 North Main.

“This evening of fun and festivities is a perfect time to introduce friends and family to the quality of life Milford has to offer,” added Ann Barnette, executive director of the Village’s Downtown Development Authority.

“Whether you’ve been to Milford a dozen times or never, there’s no better evening to laugh, shop, dine and explore our 250 shops and restaurants,” she added.
