Abdu Murray is a Christian apologist based in Metro Detroit and the president of Embrace the Truth International. A former committed Muslim, he spent nearly a decade examining the historical, philosophical, and scientific claims of Christianity and Islam before coming to faith in Christ. With a background in law — holding a J.D. from the University of Michigan and former practice as an attorney — he brings a thoughtful, reasoned approach to defending the Christian worldview.
Murray now speaks across the U.S. and internationally, engaging audiences in universities, churches, and public forums. He is known for gracious, respectful dialogue with people of all convictions, seeking to unite clarity of truth with compassion. Through his books, debates, and teaching, he helps believers and skeptics alike explore the claims of Jesus in a way that speaks to both heart and mind.
The morning begins with warm fellowship and a fresh continental breakfast as doors open at 6:45 AM, followed by worship and Abdu’s keynote session at 7:30 AM.
