The Detroit Spring Home & Garden Show will cover 200,000 square feet inside the TCF Center, previously known as Cobo Center, March 21-22, according to a Monday news release.
The show will bring together hundreds of home improvement professionals and feature seminars with HGTV’s “Rehab Addict” host and metro Detroit native Nicole Curtis, the release said.
“The time is right for an event like this to come back to the City. The Detroit Spring Home & Garden Show will be for everyone in Metro Detroit — city and suburbs,” Nicholson said in the release. “The show is the perfect opportunity for homeowners to see all of the latest trends and connect face-to-face with hundreds of local home improvement professionals.”
The home show will spotlight the latest trends in the worlds of home remodeling and interior design, while attendees will be able to view do-it-yourself demonstrations, enter home makeover contests and receive “show only” discounts. There will also be appearances from national and local home improvement celebrities, according to the release.
The event, sponsored by Detroit-based Rocket Loans,online lending service and sibling company to Dan Gilbert’s Quicken Loans Inc., will enable exhibitors to build brand awareness, network with other industry professionals and book business for the season.
Exhibitors include Ypsilanti Township-based pest control service Mosquito One, Oxford-based closet and cabinet maker Closets by Design and more.
Attendees will also be able to receive free antiques appraisals and information regarding living options in Detroit.
