The Henry Ford Health System has unveiled a new Mobile Mammography vehicle, which is pushing the drive for breast cancer screening and education across southeast Michigan.The vehicle is fully-equipped with state-of-the-art digital breast tomosynthesis, known as 3D mammography, and is available for visits at 11 locations across metro Detroit, and nine locations in south-central Michigan.
Physicians at Henry Ford are encouraging women to ASK – ask for an exam, ask about breast density, and ask other women, as early detection can be they key to survival, and having a mammogram can make that critical difference.
