While we might not be able to check out our favorite movie theatres these days, there’s one program happening near Detroit that will allow families to watch flicks among pretty natural surroundings in a safe, socially distant way. If you’re from Detroit or its surrounding areas, you’ve undoubtedly spent quality time at one spot or another from within the stunning Huron-Clinton Metropark system.
There are 13 parks in the system, each offering its own natural attractions and activities throughout the year. At a handful of the parks, though, you can enjoy outdoor movies.
Over the coming weeks, visitors can attend Metropark Movie Nights at the following parks: Lake St. Clair, Kensington, Stony Creek, Hudson Mills, and Willow Creek.
