FREE Fine Arts Educational Concerts presented by Troy Metro Symphony Orchestra

You’re invited! Don’t miss the opportunity to experience LIVE orchestra & ballet with TMSO at one of our Spring Fine Arts Educational Concerts!
TMSO has three entertaining evenings of fine arts education planned for all ages:

The orchestra will be playing Prokofiev’s “Peter & the Wolf” as our narrator introduces the instruments of the orchestra …
Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake Suite” will feature classical ballerinas from SEMBA (The Link School of the Arts, Ballet Edge – Detroit, & Northville Ballet Theatre) performing the iconic national dances from the ballet …
Acclaimed artists Adam & Andrea Clague’s award-winning paintings will be displayed …
TMSO’s music director, Travis Cook, will explain the stories behind three sacred hymns the orchestra will be playing …
Educational music pages are available for children to color and fill out during the concert …
After the concert, there will be an up-close “meet the instruments” presentation for the children in attendance …
And on April 11th ONLY, before the concert begins (6:30), Lauren Anderson (Houston Ballet) will host a ballet talk.
All concerts begin at 7:00 PM.  Admission is free. However, donations are greatly appreciated. Physical tickets are not required for admittance.
