The Ferndale Parks & Recreation Department is hard at work taking measures to make this year’s Hilton Fall Festival its most successful yet.
This year’s festivities will take place at the Activity Center at Martin Road Park in Ferndale on Saturday October 7, 2017 from 11a – 3p and will feature a bevy of activities, including hay rides, pumpkin painting, carnival games, bounce houses, a trick-or-treat trail and more!
Price for entry will be just $5 for children ages 2-15 and $2 for ages 16 and up. Children under 2 are free. Entry wristbands grant participation in all attractions except for food purchases.
Ferndale Parks and Recreation is also seeking volunteers to assist different shifts between 10a and 4p.
Volunteering for the Ferndale Fall Festival will serve as an excellent opportunity to engage and give back to the community. Volunteers can expect to engage in a variety of activities in different 1- to 2-hour shifts, ranging from event setup and cleanup to running carnival games for children.
Anyone seeking more information about the volunteer process can refer to the attached volunteer application form or contact Emanuel Johnson at Ferndale Recreation.
