Join us at Detroit Prime, one of the area’s newest and finest dining venues, on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
All proceeds benefit Cass.
The restaurant is a new type of steakhouse. A better term for it would be “meat house” but, not to worry, there is plenty of vegetarian too and those dishes rock. The basic “food goal” is to keep dinners affordable yet provide incredible Chef driven food focused on value cuts of meat. A great example would be “Root Beer Short Ribs.”
While the food is a tribute to great USDA Prime Beef, the restaurant is a tribute to Detroit in a Historical Museum style. However, unlike the museum which has an 1800’s Detroit theme, Detroit Prime will be a 1940’s city scene. There are multiple “City Vignettes.”
They include:
- JL Hudson’s
- Stroh’s Brewery
- Boblo
- Tiger Stadium
- Sanders
- Majestic Theatre
- SS Kresge
- The Vernors’ Pharmacy
- Belle Isle Conservatory
- Hitsville USA
- Olympia Stadium
- Detroit Train Station
- Eastern Market Wine
Four seatings are available: 6:00 P.M., 6:30 P.M., 7:00 P.M. & 7:30 P.M.
