Special screening to benefit DFT auxiliary Friends of Detroit Film Theatre
Detroit, MI – Bruce Springsteen’s London Calling: Live In Hyde Park, a spectacular movie of his 2009 London concert, will be presented in a specially prepared, one-time-only preview version on Wednesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. by the Detroit Institute of Arts’ (DIA) Detroit Film Theatre (DFT). Ann Delisi of WDET’s “Ann Delisi’s Essential Music” will introduce the film. The DIA is one of several venues in the U.S. that will show the film in advance of its June 22 release on DVD and Blu-ray.
Tickets are $10, and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the DIA’s Friends of Detroit Film Theatre, a museum auxiliary group that supports the DFT in a myriad of ways year-round. Tickets are available in advance by calling 313-833-4005, at

Hours and Admission
Museum hours are 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. Fridays, and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for ages 6-17, and free for DIA members.
