There is no denying cereal is one of the most popular breakfast foods in the country. Well now the Detroit Fire Department is helping collect this breakfast staple for children in need of food.
Starting on Tuesday, June 14th, DFD, in association with Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Gleaners Food Bank will collect unopened boxes of cereal.
Donations will be accepted until Monday, June 20th. After the drive, the donated cereal will be delivered to Gleaners Food bank for distribution.
