Budding artists in high schools across Michigan have until November to submit their best auto designs in hopes of being featured at the 2019 Detroit auto show.
The North American International Auto Show announced the launch of its 31st annual poster contest Thursday.
The poster contest was created to engage Michigan high school students and encourage careers in automotive design, according to NAIAS. During the 2018 contest, NAIAS received 825 entries from 68 high schools.
“As chairman, it is very rewarding to me to see firsthand the creative young minds we have in our great state and be able to award them for their imaginative interpretations of our show,” said Bill Golling, 2019 NAIAS chairman, in a news release.
