From Wyandotte to the Grosse Pointes, cookie walks are planned for the upcoming weeks around metro Detroit.
Cookies are typically sold by the pound and vary in price. Many of the events offer other holiday baked goods.

? St. Michael’s Orthodox Church, 26355 W. Chicago, Redford Township: The annual cookie walk takes place 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and will include 100-plus varieties of cookies baked by parishioners, including many ethnic cookies. Proceeds benefit the church. Info: 313-937-2120.
? Grosse Pointe United Methodist Church, 211 Moross, Grosse Pointe Farms: The church’s Cookie Mart is Saturday. Thousands of Christmas cookies will be sold by the pound, and other holiday treats will also be available. Info: 313-886-2363.
