Co-founder of Cornerstone Schools inducted into prestigious…

Cornerstone Schools in Detroit announced its Co-founder and former CEO of Cornerstone Schools, William Clark Durant III, was one of five people who were inducted into the prestigious association of Churchill Fellows recently.

He traveled with another local leader to be inducted, 98-year-old Mort Harris, the former CEO of Detroit’s American Axle and Manufacturing Holdings, and a World War II veteran who flew 33 combat missions. Two students from Detroit accompanied the local inductees to the ceremony at the National Churchill Museum on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. The students, junior Gevon Clemens, and senior, Delayna Mitchell, were chosen based on their academic excellence and interest in history.
