The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s Henry & Delia Meyers Library and Media Center will host its next book club at noon on Wednesday, February 12.
The book to be discussed is Susan Sherman’s “The Little Russian,” the story of an extraordinary love affair between a Russian grocer’s daughter and a member of the Jewish Worker’s League who is forced to leave the country when he is accused of smuggling.
Sharon Schwartz will facilitate the event, which is free and open to the community. Guests are welcome to bring their lunch; snacks and coffee will be available.
