The smell of roasting chestnuts hangs in the air as you make your way along candle-lit paths from one festive historic home to the next. There’s ice skating, too, and strolling carolers, costumed presenters and carriage and Model T rides. Santa and a few of his reindeer are always nearby as the evening closes with fireworks and sing-along caroling. This is how the holidays are supposed to be.

- Courtesy of The Henry FordTreat your family to a delectable holiday feast with the Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village Dinner Package at Eagle Tavern External Link, offered December 2-3, 9-10, 16-23 and 26-27, 2011 (two seatings available, 5pm and 8pm). The “proprietors” of this 1850’s stagecoach stop will delight your palette with an authentic holiday meal, served by costumed presenters and enhanced by seasonal décor and live music from the period. In addition to dinner, your package includes admission to Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village.

Holiday Nights Supper with Santa External Link is the perfect holiday dining event for families and available December 2-3, 9-10 and 16-23, 2011 (Dinner 4:45pm-6:30pm, Event 6:30pm-10pm).  Following your horse-drawn wagon ride to A Taste of History Restaurant, your family will partake in a holiday turkey dinner, make festive table decorations and Santa Claus will personally visit each table. Holiday Nights tickets are included with your dinner reservation.
