Hey there! Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a young inventor? Well, you can find out by visiting the Thomas Edison Depot Museum! This cool place opened on February 11, 2001, and it’s all about the amazing Thomas Edison, one of the greatest inventors ever.
The museum is inside a super old train station built way back in 1858. And guess what? This is the actual place where young Thomas Edison worked as a news reporter when he was just about your age! Trains here connected Port Huron to all sorts of exciting places, including Metro Detroit (60 miles away) and even Canada, bringing people and cool stuff from all over the world.
When you explore the museum, you’ll get to see awesome exhibits that tell the story of Edison’s life—from his boyhood curiosity to his incredible inventions.
