LookUpDetroit.com was created as a non-profit – ad free website to serve the Metro Detroit community by providing positive and helpful information from trusted local groups, churches, and charities. The website aims to bring our metro community together, create bridges, and provide an online faith-friendly platform for local groups, promoting a better sense of connection and good neighborliness.
LookUpDetroit.com is offering posting access to trusted organizations, nonprofits, ministries, churches, and other groups in this local digital online public town square. The site highlights many interest and location categories that are easily accessed on PC’s, tablets, and smartphones.
One of the key features of LookUpDetroit.com as a “Public Square” is the ability for community groups to post information about their events and initiatives. This will help to promote these organizations and their efforts, as well as give metro residents affective ways to get involved in the community. Most of the posts with stories, pictures and weblinks are automatically displayed on various social networks. As well, weekly emails Metro Detroit updates are also available to users.
By fostering collaboration, promoting community engagement, and providing residents with valuable information and resources, LookUpDetroit.com has the potential to make a significant and positive impact on the metro Detroit community and it’s over 3.5 million residents.
To ensure the success of this initiative, the creator, Rev. Richard Dalton, is asking for help and support from people and groups from around Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland Counties.
The LookUpDetroit.com project needs help in the form of time, talent, treasure, and prayers.
If you are interested in helping in this exciting and meaningful initiative, please reach out to
Rev. Richard Dalton at richard@lookupdetroit.com or call the office phone at 248-656-4864.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely, Rev. Richard Dalton.
P.S. My vision and hope extends beyond Metro Detroit to helping many major cities through the use of LookUpDetroit.com as a prototype or “Model T”, putting our nation on a “better road”.
