TWO GUYS
Yup, we’re mixing it all up! This year’s roster includes:
Barb Barton – from the Lansing area, Barb is a fireball on guitar – her songs embrace life on earth with tribal appeal and a dash of rock ‘n roll attitude.
Laura Ann Bates-Lerman – superb Ypsilanti songwriter with a lyrical, cotton candy voice. Her songs exemplify the spiritual while embracing the sensual, melding all into a uniquely feminine perspective.
Steve Jones – a teller of tales, spinner of yarns whose songs cry out the human plight. Dynamic yet subtle, Steve’s compelling lyrics and melodic structures are truly memorable.
Zak Fortin – this young man has got chops – banjo chops – and he’s not shy about it. Exuberant and animated, Zak knows how to entertain and astonish you with uncommon, yet masterful renditions of your favorite songs.
Maggie Ferguson – your humble host and all around North American Folksinger gets into the act.
