The dog days of summer are winding down but there’s still time to sneak in a book or maybe two.Which is why I reached out to some high-profile folks from business, academia, sports and politics to see what’s been on their summer reading list. Gov. Rick Snyder has been busy with things like going on a trade mission to China but managed to squeeze in some reading time, too.At the moment, Snyder’s reading “The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution,” by Walter Isaacson. Snyder’s intrigued by the topic but more so after meeting Isaacson, who appeared at the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Conference earlier this summer.
