It’s a busy time in the Detroit Public Schools Community District, as officials try to fill classes with teachers and students in preparation for the Sept. 5 beginning of the school year.There’s one more job fair this month as well as several enrollment activities. In addition, the district is holding a town hall meeting on special education and the board of education is having a two-day retreat to set the direction for the district.
