The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit will host its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, when CEO Brian D. Siegel will announce exciting new changes coming to the JCC and name the organization’s leadership for the new fiscal year, including President Richard A. Zussman and Chair Florine Mark.
“We’re looking forward to a great evening,” Siegel said. “Everyone in the community is invited to the meeting, where we’ll provide updates on important developments such as our new Centers for Education and Engagement; the Federation’s Education department and staff, who will be joining the JCC; and many more. We are in the midst of bold and creative changes that will offer new opportunities, new programs and new ways to learn and celebrate. Additionally, both before and after the annual meeting lay and professional staff will be available to answer questions and hear feedback, because we always want to engage community members.”
The annual meeting will be held at the Janice Charach Gallery at the JCC, 6600 W. Maple Road
in West Bloomfield, and will be preceded by a complimentary cocktail hour reception.
In addition to Richard A. Zussman, the JCC will announce new and returning officers including Steve Fisher, Ilana Glazier, Eric Lumberg, Franci Silver, Nathan Upfal and Jeremy Wolfe (vice presidents); Terry Hollander (treasurer); Miriam Bergman (secretary); Michael Berger, Howard Iwrey, Mark Rubenfire, Scott Small and Carol Weintraub Fogel (executive committee members at large); and new board members Linda Ishbia, Adam Kessler, Jordan Rosenberg, Brandon Schram, Halley Uzansky and Adam Zussman.
