Live Cycle Delight will open an indoor cycling studio this fall in Detroit’s West Village neighborhood at 8019 Agnes St.
The announcement comes a year after Live Cycle Delight won $50,000 in a “Hatch Off” retail competition. The cycling studio beat out 170 applicants, according to a news release.
The studio will offer three varying indoor cycling classes, which will range from 30- to 90-minute sessions with differing intensity levels.
“Additionally, the company encourages outdoor bike rides by offering meet-up rides as an introduction to outdoor cycling safety,” the release reads, “promoting cycling hubs throughout Detroit and continuing to expose Detroit as a bike-friendly community.”
Once the studio opens, it will have regular hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week, offering monthly memberships, and student and business packages.
The shop will reportedly feature a “state-of-the-art” bike lounge with the goal of encouraging outdoor riders to stop in, pump those tires up, use a locker, hop on the WiFi and grab a swig of water, according to the release.
