A Detroit neighborhood is looking a lot greener these days thanks to the work of some volunteers.
The goal of the Moross Greenway Project is to clean up the seven islands on Moross between I-94 and St. John Hospital on Detroit’s east side.
The project raises money to mow the lawns, plant trees and re-landscape the area. Sunday was one of two days a year where volunteers pick up trash. They want the area to look the way it’s supposed to.
