In 2021, Metro Detroit saw a ton of new restaurants, both casual and upscale, make their debut, and more are on the horizon to open in 2022.
Local diners will likely see more seafood options, taco stands, hipster attractions and classic bars open up in hot spots like downtown Royal Oak, Midtown and the Avenue of Fashion, but also in out-of-the-way areas that could use new dining options.
