The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s Henry & Delia Meyers Library and Media Center will hold its next book club at noon on Wednesday, June 6.
Faclitator Sharon Schwartz will lead the discussion, focusing on foreign correspondent Martin Fletcher’s first novel, The List. The book tells of a couple anticipating the birth of their first child in anti-Semitic, post-World War II London while also searching for surviving family members, even as an assassination attempt is being planned that may jeopardize the lives of refugees in Britain.
